We are very excited to have Papa Shandy and The Drams return to our Garden Bar Stage, they caused quite a stir at our Celtic Festival last year with everyone asking who they were and wanting more. 

Papa Shandy & The Drams mix the traditional with the modern to create an unforgettable set. Expect them to cover a wide range of genres from traditional folk to 90s dance hits whilst adding their own flair. They are not to be missed!

These kilted up guys were a lot of fun at our Loch Fyne Hoolie last year and they are back again to belt out more classic traditional Scottish tunes for you all to sing along and stomp your feet to. Their cheeky personalities and infectious smiles makes it difficult to not enjoy yourself and join in on the fun. 

The Argyll Ceilidh Trail is five young, up-and-coming musicians showcasing their music across Argyll and the Isles over the summer. The group includes Gregor Niven on accordion, Edie Elliot on fiddle, Fiona Cruickshank on fiddle and piano, Owen Stark on Drum kit and Dylan Howe on guitar.

They last played in our Cocktail Bar on the night of the Inveraray Highland Games and had everyone up ceilidh dancing so we hope for the same in our Garden Bar for the Hoolie.

Together we are Sgòrr, a new band formed in Glasgow who play traditional Scottish Music as well as our own compositions

We look forward to welcoming this highly successful and talented band for the first time to our Garden Bar Stage. 

They are inspired by Celtic Folk music, intrigued by World beats and melodies and are an interesting and unique fusion of funk, rock, pop and jazz taking folk music to new heights. 

To go to one of their gigs is to be taken on a heady musical journey with furious fiddling, haunting traditional melodies, self-penned songs and eastern reel twists by Royal Conservatoire of Scotland trained Alison McNeill and sound designer sister Fiona McNeill. They are a uniquely rich visual and aural experience with a soaring diva soprano, the beauty of acoustic instruments, revved up by driving bass lines, wah-wah pedals and rocked up rhythms. Reely Jiggered is a powerhouse of diverse musicians who use their different musical backgrounds to create an exotic, unusual, inspiring and unique musical signature.

It all began in 2003 when pipe major Stuart Liddell MBE started teaching piping to the children of the Mid Argyll area. Starting with only 5 young talented pipers and 1 drummer, they built upon these foundations and in 2005, Inveraray and District Pipe Band was formed. Their first competition was in the Novice Juvenile grade at Cowal Games in August 2005 and then the next few years saw the band rise through the RSPBA Grades with unprecedented momentum and by 2009, the band were competing in the Grade 2 adult competitions. 2009 was a successful year for the band where they won all 5 major championships in Grade 2. This meant that they were automatically promoted to the top tier Grade 1. Since being promoted, the band has had much success with pipers and drummers from all over the world wanting to join the prestige band. Fast forward to 2017 when they reached their pinnacle and won the Worlds and became Champion of Champions in the same year. The band went on to win the Worlds for a second time in 2019.

The band hasn’t forgotten their roots and will be returning to Inveraray to play for the second time at our Loch Fyne Hoolie Festival. It will be a truly magnificent moment to witness the top class winning pipe band playing alongside the stunning views of Loch Fyne.

A local trad band hailing from Argyll. They only formed over a year ago and played at our Loch Fyne Hoolie last year where they were a big hit. Since then they have been gigging all over Scotland including the famous Park Bar  and making their name known across the traditional Scottish music scene. We hope you can join us on the dancefloor for a strip the willow or a gay gordons!

"Music has always been a part of my life, coming from a musical family. I started cutting my teeth busking on the streets of Glasgow, going to the various open mic nights, and went on to become a Danny Kyle finalist at Celtic Connections. Since then, I've been a regular on BBC Introducing and have been steadily building a following on the live circuit in and around Scotland. I've been fortunate enough to have my music featured on the BBC Three series Lip Service and picked for a US feature film 'Collection'. From rootsy foot stomping grooves to original compositions, I enjoy mixing different styles and genres together in my music. I’ve had the pleasure of travelling all over the country playing gigs and meeting people from all walks of life. When I’m not performing my original music, I love putting my own unique slant on covers from some of my favourite artists. I believe that every musician should be true to themselves, which is why I aim to infuse every performance with my own energy and style." Mic Clark
